Sharing insights from our latest achievement, the SIK project, which has played a pivotal role in modernizing and harmonizing the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) into a Network-Centric Warfare (NCW) interoperability environment. Kanella Petrakou our Senior Engineer (Integration & Verification) , reflects on the project:
“A single national force reveals the monumental accomplishment of the SIK program in modernizing, harmonizing, and gradually transforming the strategies, doctrines, and forces organization of the Indonesian Armed Forces to a Network Centric Warfare interoperability environment. Skillful execution, true professionalism, and dedication showcased that SCYTALYS technical experts can be the springboard in advancing the Indonesian Armed Forces NDL operations in the region. “Every project is an opportunity to learn, to figure out problems and challenges, to invent and reinvent. I feel grateful and proud that I was part of the SIK project team in Indonesia. We managed to complete such a challenging program, learn new things, and collaborate with various companies and vendors. The most important thing I gained from this program is that the key success factor is communication. Cultural sensitivity is critical as it helps people break cultural barriers and understand ways in which they can appreciate people who are different from them. Understanding the Indonesian culture helped us build relationships, proacted our collaboration, and earned their appreciation.”
